Amit Joined Bajaj Allianz General Insurance as Chief Investment Officer in year 2016. He is responsible for managing the investment portfolio as per the risk and return objectives set by the board and the investment committee of the company. Before joining Bajaj Allianz his previous assignment was as Chief Investment Officer at Aviva Life Insurance company. Amit has total experience of more than 25 years in the investment industry spread across investment banks, life insurance and general insurance companies. He holds a bachelor degree in commerce from Banaras Hindu University (BHU) and master degree in Business Economics from university of Delhi. Amit also holds CFA charter from CFA Institute USA. Besides work Amit is very active in endurance sports like long distance running and cycling and regularly participates in marathons and ultra-cycling events.
