Ganesh Mohan is the Chief Executive Officer of Bajaj Finserv Asset Management Limited, the wholly-owned subsidiary of Bajaj Finserv Limited. Bajaj Finserv Asset Management, the latest venture from Bajaj Finserv Limited, is aimed at playing a pivotal role in the investment space. This venture offers multiple innovative funds and investment solutions to assist investors in achieving their financial goals.

Ganesh joined Bajaj Finserv in 2015 as the Group Head of Strategy. With a focus on fostering innovation and developing newer capabilities for the companies, he has played a crucial role in leading several important transformational projects for the Group, including scanning the financial services landscape for potential future opportunities in India and across the globe.

Before joining Bajaj Finserv Limited, Ganesh was a Partner with the Boston Consulting Group and worked with them for 16 years in the US, Europe, the Middle East, and India. His primary professional affiliations were with organisational and financial services.

Ganesh holds a B.Tech (Hons) in Chemical Engineering from IIT Kharagpur, and an MBA from IIM Calcutta, in Finance and Strategy. In his spare time, Ganesh loves listening to Indian classical music and enjoys hiking in the highlands with his triplets.

Nimesh Chandan is the Chief Investment Officer at Bajaj Finserv Asset Management Limited. He is an investment professional with 22 years of experience in investing in the Indian capital markets. He has an established track record in managing money and advising clients, both domestic and international, retail as well as institutional.

Over the years, he has developed an investment process that generates alpha through informational, analytical as well as behavioural edge. Nimesh has been part of the mutual fund industry for 17 years where he has managed products across market capitalisation and themes. He has also developed models on Sustainable Investing, Quant Investing and Asset Allocation.

Nimesh is a keen follower of Behavioural Finance and has been writing and presenting on the role of psychology in investment decision-making to the investment community. He has developed a set of processes and tools that help reduce one’s behavioural mistakes and understand the crowd or market behaviour.

Aniruddha Chaudhuri is the Head of Sales and Distribution at Bajaj Finserv Asset Management Limited. He is responsible for anchoring the business objectives of Bajaj Finserv Asset Management Limited across both retail and institutional segments, across India. He leads the sales & distribution function, primarily addressing distributors’ and investors’ investment needs. Before joining Bajaj Finserv Asset Management Limited, Aniruddha was heading the retail sales & distribution and product communication for ICICI Prudential AMC. During his 14-year tenure at ICICI Prudential AMC, he also has led various new projects in product development, management, and communication.

He has over two decades of experience in business strategy, product development, and marketing of investment solutions in the banking and mutual fund industry. Aniruddha has also worked at ICICI Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, and SHCIL.

He is a Chartered Accountant and Cost Accountant. Aniruddha is an ardent reader and loves Behavioural Economics. He is also closely associated with the social activities of the Ramakrishna Mission.

Nilesh Chonkar is the Head of Operations at Bajaj Finserv Asset Management Limited. He is responsible for operations, finance and service delivery, enabling the brand to build on its customer obsession journey through various strategic interventions and initiatives. During his career, spanning more than two decades, he has worked with AIG Investments, Principal Financial Group, IIFL Wealth and Asset Management, and Motilal Oswal Group.

Nilesh comes with years of experience in spearheading functions like Customer Service, Registrar and Transfer Agency Operations, Branch Operations, Custody, Fund Accounting and Administration, across Mutual Funds, AIFs, Portfolio Management Services (PMS) and SMA/Offshore offerings. He has pioneered multiple segments of revenue generation by embedding various third-party products, re-engineering and streamlining AMC and Wealth Operations using technology. He has also been a key member of the mutual funds industry body of India, AMFI (Association of Mutual Funds in India), from 2016 to 2017.

Nilesh has completed his Master’s in Finance Management from the University of Mumbai – Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) and a Master’s in Commerce from the University of Mumbai – Sydenham College. He has also completed his PRINCE2® Certification from QA (UK). He was also a national level water-polo player and swimmer.

Royston is the Head of Marketing at Bajaj Finserv Asset Management Limited. He is responsible for building saliency and preference for the brand as well as driving business through the Company’s digital channels.

Royston joined the Bajaj Finserv Group in 2013. During the last 10 years, he has managed various Marketing roles across Advertising and Communications, Brand Strategy, Research, Digital Marketing, Retail Marketing, and Experience Design, at Bajaj Finance Limited. His most recent role was as Head of Content Marketing and Group Brand Management, where he was responsible for managing the brand platform for all group companies as well as transforming the function into a Content Tech unit that fueled the Company’s digital transformation agenda.

Prior to joining the Bajaj Finserv Group, Royston led account management roles at various leading Indian advertising agencies viz. Contract (part of the WPP Group), DDB Mudra & BBH and also did a sales stint at Coca-Cola.

He is a B.Com and MBA from Pune University. During his free time, he loves to play the guitar and is part of a weekend football league.

Harish Iyer is the Head of Compliance, Legal & Secretarial at Bajaj Finserv Asset Management Limited. He has 16 years of work experience across various Asset Management Companies in the Compliance, Legal & Secretarial profiles. Throughout his career, Harish has overseen the implementation of processes and controls under various laws and regulations across various AMCs.

Prior to joining Bajaj Finserv Asset Management Limited, Harish was Senior Vice President – Legal & Compliance, at IDFC Asset Management Company Limited. He has also had stints at ICICI Prudential Asset Management Company Limited, Principal PNB Asset Management Company Private Limited (Principal Mutual Fund schemes have been transferred to Sundaram Mutual Fund) and SBI Funds Management Limited.

Harish is a B.Com and LL.B. He is also an Associate Member of The Institute of Company Secretaries of India. Harish enjoys listening to rock music and is also an avid cricket and football fan.

Vaibhav Date is the Head of Human Resources at Bajaj Finserv Asset Management Limited. In this role, he is instrumental in setting up the leadership team and empowering them with able people force while defining the core fabric of the organisation.

Prior to this, as Head – Talent Management at Bajaj Finserv Group, Vaibhav was instrumental in defining the enterprise-wide Talent Strategy, shaping the leadership DNA at Bajaj Finserv, and bringing in a talent culture. In this stint, he led significant strategic talent projects which led to talent mobility across businesses and an influx of young talent to sustain long-term growth.

During the initial decade of his career, Vaibhav transitioned from a business role to HR. He ably managed P&L of the consulting business of Thomas International, India, where he acquired a multi-sector consulting experience spanning across India, Japan, China, and Middle East.

Vaibhav is a postgraduate in business management from Pune University and an alumni of IIM Calcutta. Beyond work, Vaibhav is a fitness enthusiast. He is also passionate about exploring the history and mythology of India and the world. He explores his passion through travel and draws inspiration from his findings.

Niranjan Vaidya is the Head of Information Technology at Bajaj Finserv Asset Management Limited. He is a seasoned technologist with over 22 years of experience in various domains. Formally trained in Information and Business Systems Engineering, he specialises in designing futuristic solutions using the power of Cloud and Artificial Intelligence.

In his earlier assignments, he was instrumental in delivering solutions for insurance, e-commerce and trading systems. His favourite work revolved around innovation where he tapped into emerging technology ecosystems in various geographies to deliver innovative digital solutions.

He is a tech lover and invests a lot of time in reading and experimenting with the latest technologies. He prides himself on learning new technologies and implementing them at his workplace.

An avid automobile buff, when not at his desk, he can be found behind the wheel of his favourite car, out on a long drive.
