Sandeep is the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer at Bajaj Finance Limited and a key member of its executive management team. He played a pivotal role in the company’s transformation from being a mono-line auto finance company into a diversified financial services leader.

As a key member of the executive management team, he oversees critical functions such as Finance, Treasury, Financial Planning & Analysis, ESG compliance, and cross-functional leadership across Legal, Compliance, Secretarial, and HR teams. He developed, implement, and supervise robust financial policies, processes and controls across management reporting, financial accounting and reporting, financial analysis, treasury, and taxation. Sandeep also provides strategic direction on financials, capital borrowing, and investment matters, while driving cost-saving and revenue-enhancement initiatives to achieve the company’s financial and operational targets.

Since joining Bajaj Finance in 2008, Sandeep has contributed significantly to its growth by leading diverse areas including Strategic Planning, Business Re-engineering, and Investor Relations. His role involves engaging with key external stakeholders, including investors, analysts, regulators, and credit rating agencies, to strengthen the company’s market position. He serves as the first point of contact for external engagements viz. Investors, Analysts, Regulators, Auditors, Tax Authorities and Credit Rating Agencies.

Sandeep began his career at Bajaj Auto Limited, specializing in internal audits across materials, systems, finance, and indirect taxation. Today, he continues to drive operational excellence and innovation, ensuring Bajaj Finance remains at the forefront of the financial services and payments ecosystem.
