Rajiv Bajaj is the Managing Director of Bajaj Auto Limited, an Indian multinational automotive manufacturing company based in Pune.

Born on December 21, 1966, Rajiv is the elder son of Rahul and Rupa Bajaj. He graduated with a distinction in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pune in 1988. In 1991, he earned a Master’s degree in Manufacturing Systems Engineering from the University of Warwick.

He has worked at Bajaj Auto in the departments of Manufacturing, Supply Chain (1990-1995), R&D and Engineering (1995-2000), and Marketing and Sales (2000-2005). Since March 5, 2002, he has been on the board of Bajaj Auto Limited, and from 2005, he has been serving as the company’s Managing Director. For his business leadership, entrepreneurship, and innovation, he has received numerous honours and accolades from prestigious bodies and institutions.

With Bajaj Auto Limited, his dream of being one of the top manufacturers of motorcycles and small commercial vehicles in the world is taking shape.
